This is a copy of Park Avenews, the newsletter of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church, from 1949. Contains a schedule for Easter services, a letter from Pastor Paul N. Otto, announcements, and essay on the meaning of Easter, and a review of activities of the Women's Society of Christian Service. Most significant is the article on the history of the church, "Historical Sketch of Park Avenue Methodist Church" (see pages 7-10). The historical sketch includes a listing of the pastors of the church from up to 1949. Several notations were later added in pen to identify subsequent pastors through 1956. version of a document in the historical materials collection of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church Archives.
